Full Job Description Job Summary:

The ROSS Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating supportive services and activities for residents of East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority (EBRPHA) properties. The coordinator will work to enhance the quality of life for residents by connecting them with community resources, facilitating educational and employment opportunities, and promoting self-sufficiency. This position at the EBRPHA is grant-funded. This job posting will close at midnight on May 12, 2025.

Essential Functions:

Develop and implement programs and services that address the needs of EBRPHA residents. Coordinate with local service providers to offer educational, health, and employment services. Conduct needs assessments to identify resident requirements and tailor services accordingly. Maintain accurate records of resident participation and program outcomes. Provide case management and referral services to residents. Organize community events and workshops to promote resident engagement. Collaborate with EBRPHA staff to ensure effective communication and service delivery. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or a related field is required. Master’s degree in social work, public administration, or a related field preferred. Experience in case management, community outreach, or social services. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of local community resources and services. Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competencies. Familiarity with housing programs and policies. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Experience with fundraising activities.
