Position Description:

The Coordinator of Network Services for Jefferson Parish Schools works across all grant-funded projects. Responsibilities include project planning, implementation, and evaluation; recruiting, training, ande valuating district and contracted staff; and coordinating and monitoring of all network service functions.

Reports To:
Director of Early Childhood Network Services Scope of Responsibility:

? Manage the common enrollment and registration system; serve as SchoolMint liaison. ? Manage the Jeffersonchild.com website, ensuring timely updates and relevant content for families and stakeholders. ? Participate in all Louisiana Department of Education (LDE) meetings and webinars related to Early Childhood. ? Support the Director of Early Childhood network services in completing all reports due to the LDE in regard to Early Childhood, including but not limited to the Common Enrollment Plan, Coordinated Funding Request, and Child Count. ? Develop and disseminate Jefferson Early Childhood newsletters, ensuring key updates, events, and information reach relevant audiences. ? Collaborate with the coordinator of Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) on professional development opportunities. ? Support child care sites and family child care sites, helping them engage in programs and initiatives that may arise to support early childhood education. ? Participate in all monthly meetings held by the collaborative for childcare providers, fostering communication and collaboration within the early childhood education community. ? Design and deliver professional development training sessions for CCRR, Early Childhood Ancillary Certificate (ECAC) programs, and other early childhood education professionals, ensuring access to relevant learning opportunities. ? Collaborate with the Director of Network Services accounts to support budget planning, budget projections, revisions, and audits for both state and local funding as required by the LDE. ? Any other duties assigned by the Director of Network Services.

Skills and Qualifications:

Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, independent self-starters who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to raising student achievement and who have a record of high performance in challenging situations and will also demonstrate: ? An earned Bachelor’s Degree in education from an accredited college or university. ? Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience ? Technology skills such as proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs), strong data entry skills with the ability to manage and input information accurately into data systems, and experience with website support and maintenance, i ncluding troubleshooting andassisting with content updates. ? Maintain current Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) certifications in Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K. ? Successful and documentable experience that impacted student achievement. ? High degree of professionalism with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while consistently demonstrating sound judgment and disciplined thinking. ? Ability to organize and motivate people. ? Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. ? Integrity, initiative, and good moral character. ? Ability to relate to students, staff, administration, parents, and community. ? Possess desirable attributes of personality, enthusiasm, and interpersonal skills. ? Proven track record of working with diverse individuals at all levels to drive decision- making results. ? The ability to be visionary and strategic is essential.

Desirable Qualifications:

Master’s or advanced degree in education preferred.

Physical Involvement:

Sitting is required most of each workday. Must be able to operate office equipment. Standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 10 pounds is sometimes required. Ability to provide own transportation to schools, work locations, and meeting sites. Mobility skills necessary to access a variety of work locations, including locations not on the ground floor.
