SEEKING:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director /Licensed Clinical Social Worker to lead a community-based program thatsupports pregnant and parenting youth. This position is located inPittsfield, but will include some travel to surrounding communities andour North Adams office.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Young Parent Program atChild Care of the Berkshires partners with pregnant and parenting youthages 14-25 to increase life opportunities and enhance family stability.
The program utilizes a strengths-based, two-generation case managementmodel that focuses on participants’ individual needs. Staff supportparents in reaching their educational and career goals, increasinghousing stability, access to health care and child care, and buildingpositive parenting skills.
BASIC FUNCTION
The Program Director /Licensed Clinical Social Worker is a dual-role position which combinesprogram leadership with clinical expertise, ensuring effective deliveryof services, staff supervision, and participant well-being. The ProgramDirector will oversee a small team of Community Health Workers (CHWs),manage program operations, maintain key stakeholder relationships, andprovide direct behavioral health support to participants throughscreenings, counseling (individual, couples, and group) and wellnessprograms. QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Social Work(MSW) from an accredited institution required. Licensed Clinical SocialWorker (LCSW or LICSW) in good standing. Minimum 2-4 years of experiencein program management, supervision, or leadership in a community-basedsetting preferred. Clinical experience working with adolescents, youngparents, or high-risk populations. Strong understanding oftrauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based practices.
Proven ability to manage a multidisciplinary team and coordinateservices across systems preferred. Excellent interpersonal,organizational, and written communication skills. Experience with grantcompliance, reporting, and budgeting preferred. Bilingual ormultilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply. Proficient on useof computer, software programs and databases, general familiarity withoffice equipment. Must be willing to complete an EEC background check(MA criminal offender record check (CORI), SORI, DCF background check,National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR)) fingerprinting, and a motorvehicle check.

WORK SCHEDULE ANDYEAR
This is a thirty-hour per week, year-round exempt position.
SALARYAND BENEFITS
