Full Job Description Position:
SOCIAL WORKER

LCSW or LMHC Full Time opportunity! Sign on bonus $2,000 for Full Time (30-40 hours) positions. The bonus will be paid out in two increments! Make a difference in a family’s life! The Early Intervention (EI) Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) provides direct services to infants and toddlers (ages 0-3) with developmental delays and their families. Services are family-centered, provided in natural environments (e.g., home, daycare), and aim to support emotional, social, and developmental well-being. The clinician partners with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, develops Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), and utilizes therapeutic strategies to support families.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct developmental assessments of children and families.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
  • Provide coaching, parent education, community resources and emotional support to families.
  • Deliver strategies targeting social-emotional development, attachment, and behavior.
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators, speech and occupational therapists, and medical professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal EI guidelines.
  • Facilitate referrals to community resources and advocate for family needs.
  • Participate in staff training, team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices.
  • Maintain professional licensure
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field.
  • Valid license:
LCSW, LICSW, LMHC.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children and their families for 1 to 2 years
  • Knowledge of early childhood development, trauma-informed care, and family systems.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for home visits).
  • Bilingual skills a plus (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese).
  • Primarily community-based with visits conducted in homes and other community based settings.
  • Flexible scheduling may be required to meet family needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively with diverse families, and knowledge of early childhood development and intervention strategies.
