Eliot is seeking a dedicated School Liaison to join our Family Resource Center (FRC) team.
The FRC is part of a statewide network of community-based programs offering multicultural parenting resources, support groups, and early childhood services. Our goal is to help families strengthen their bonds, connect with others, and engage in their communities.
As a School Liaison, you will act as a bridge between schools, families, and external service providers to support student success. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in navigating school systems and special education.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with local school districts to help families navigate the educational system and address school-related concerns
Identify and connect families in need with academic, social, and community-based supports and resources
Maintain consistent communication with families, attend IEP meetings, and support parent engagement activities like conferences
Serve as a resource to improve student outcomes by addressing attendance, truancy, systemic barriers, and community connections
Facilitate parenting education groups, community trainings, and maintain a welcoming, resource-rich environment for families
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience working within the school system
Valid Massachusetts Drivers License
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Annual Salary
$44,680
- $44,680 USD
