Full-Time / Non-Exempt Description of this role: The CS-Project Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to identify STL City, non-custodial participants that have been negatively impacted by Covid-19, and who are eligible to receive assistance with child support payments. Duties, Functions and Responsibilities – includes the following and other related duties may be assigned. Identify program participants who qualify to receive funds for past balances of child support. Ensure that project goals are met, including objectives, activities, and participants served. Serve as liaison to collect all monthly statistics and data to prepare summary and reports. On a monthly basis, analyze all project data and use findings to develop strategies for implementing any needed changes and improvements in processes and service delivery. Coordinate and regularly meet with the sub-grantees to report needs and outcomes. Develops and maintain network of community resources and social support systems. Must be able to work some evenings to support participants enrolled in evening classes Mandatory to attend all staff and department meetings, participant graduations, and bonding events. Ensures that all necessary information and paperwork is distributed and completed appropriately. Enter all data and information into internal database systems and compile reports as needed. Communicate information, reports, updates, needs, and outcomes in meetings internally and with funders. Meets with the case management team to review participants who are eligible to receive funds. Attends all staff meetings as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have knowledge and understanding of grants, budgets, and contracts. Must have effective verbal & written communications skills with ability to organize and present information. Ability to utilize agency and community resources to meet goals. Must be able to multitask and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. Must be team oriented, with the ability to work independently, establish trust, and build relationships. Must have the ability to demonstrate comprehension, expression, and problem sensitivity. Must be able to enter, store, and maintain information in written and electronic form. Must have strong data entry, documentation, reporting skills, and familiar with MS Products. Must understand and practice the NASW (National Association of Social Workers)
Code of Ethics Educational and Experience Requirements:
B.S. in Human Services, Social Work, or related minimum; or
BSW, MSW
preferred. 1-2 years’ experience working in non-profit and with at risk population. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable, insured vehicle.
