Child Nutrition Cafeteria Worker Position Available In Jones, Mississippi

• GENERAL

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work under the direction of the Child Nutrition Director and supervision of the cafeteria manager to serve students attractive, appetizing and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and warmth. 

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability and willingness to follow instructions, either written or oral
• Willingness to work in any situation when kitchen is involved
• Emotional stability and physical fitness to perform duties assigned at sufficient speed to carry out an efficient operation
• Interest in food preparation and service
• Courtesy and tact in dealing with people
• Personal standards of appearance and dress connensurate with those required by the food service
• Interest in children and school programs
• Desire to put forth best effort in all assigned duties
• Ability and willingness to learn prescribed food preparation methods.

• MINIMUM DUTIES

• Efficiently perform assigned duties in relation to food preparation, serving of food, and cleaning all areas of the kitchen
• Attend required training meetings
• Report to work at designated time, clock in, and remain on the job until dismissed by manager
• Notify manager at earlies possible time when unable to work
• Maintain pleasant working relations with fellow employees by showing consideration for others, patience, respect, self-control, and other desirable character traits
• Follow school policies and instructions of the manager relating to safety measures, sanitation practices, personal standards, work techniques, and methods of performing duties
• Perform any other duties asked by the director or school administration.
