Outcomes:

This position is responsible for the following outcomes: GreenLeaf residents demonstrate growth in life skills (budgeting, parenting skills, time management, critical thinking/decision making, etc.). Communication is strong within programming and residents know what is expected.

Primary Job Functions :

Meet with residents weekly in their apartment or the GreenLeaf office apartment for practical life applications at the direction of the case manager. Case management experience Provide accountability and support to residents through recovery coaching. Assist with apartment inspections when necessary; follow up with the resident to address any concerns and determine needs of the resident. Conduct drug testing and document in Apricot. Assist residents in determining the best option for recovery group support. Model accountability and healthy relationships. Have a strong knowledge of community resources for recovery enhancement and link residents to those resources.

Qualifications :

Certified Peer Support Specialist with at least 1 year of experience. Certified Recovery Coach with at least 1 year of coaching experience. Social Work with at least 1 year experience High level of emotional intelligence and spiritual maturity. Strong knowledge of community-wide resources and pathways of care. Strong written and oral communication skills. Computer skills with Word, Excel, and Google products. A commitment to Evangelical Christian principles and a lifestyle that aligns with Safe Harbor’s doctrinal and ethical standards.”

Spiritual Community:

Show by example the importance of Scripture memorization, Bible study, prayer, witnessing, and Christian fellowship 1 Peter 5:3 Have a passion for evangelism and the spiritual welfare of all served by the ministry, including program participants, guests, volunteers, customers, contributors, and staff. Matthew 28:19,20 Encouraged to attend a local church whose beliefs are aligned with Safe Harbor’s Statement of Faith Abstain from activities or addictions that have a detrimental effect on clients or the reputation of the ministry. According to the teachings of Romans 14:13-23, to prevent becoming a stumbling block to those within the ministry who may be struggling with addictions, (Titus 2:11,12)
