The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for children’s welfare and ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties Provide child protective services by investigating allegations of child abuse or neglect Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage with families and assess their needs Work with children of various ages, backgrounds, and abilities Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary Assist individuals with disabilities in navigating services and resources Apply knowledge of family law to support families in crisis situations Utilize social work principles to develop and implement care plans for children Provide childcare support and supervision as needed Demonstrate proficiency in crisis management techniques Resolve conflicts within families or between individuals effectively Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (required) Previous experience working with children or families in crisis (preferred) Knowledge of child welfare laws and regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations Certification in Crisis Intervention or Conflict Management is a plus
