The program serves families facing severe challenges by providing crisis intervention, clinical services, and practical support. ® standards which are one of the following: Graduate degree in human services or related field. Graduate student in the final year of their program, and at least one year of relevant clinical experience working with children and families. Bachelor degree in human services or related field, and at least two years of relevant clinical experience working with children and families.

Adaptive problem-solving skills, ability to manage crisis situations, and sensitivity to cultural issues that affect care. Professional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft and Google products, email, and other software programs. Sense of humor, creativity, and a willingness to learn from challenges. Must possess a valid driver’s license, a working vehicle, and be willing to travel.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to all components in the

HOMEBUILDERS

® Standards. Serve families with children at imminent risk of placement, providing services in their homes. Maintain a flexible workweek, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet family needs. Accept referrals 24/7, schedule and complete intakes within 24 hours of referral. Be available to families 24/7, ensuring backup from supervisors when needed. Typically serve 18-20 families per year, working with 2-3 families at a time. Provide 38+ hours of face-to-face contact per family, spread over 4-6 weeks. Participate in weekly team consultation and consult with a supervisor about each family at least once per week. Assess family safety, utilize clinical strategies to promote safety, and provide concrete goods and services to families. Develop intervention goals and service plans in collaboration with families, using cognitive/behavioral strategies to facilitate behavior change. Advocate with community resources and teach families to advocate for themselves. Complete all clinical documentation and program paperwork accurately and on time. Participate in required practitioner training and QUEST activities for professional growth. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with referring agencies and represent the agency in community meetings.
