School Social Worker High Point, NC We are seeking a School Social Worker (SW) to join our team in North Carolina for the 2024-2025 school year . This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 32-37 hours per week with students in a school-based setting.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Conduct assessments to determine student needs and develop intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success. Assist families in accessing community resources and support services. Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings as needed. Address crisis situations and implement intervention strategies to support students.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid North Carolina School Social Worker Licensure . Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) required . Experience working in a school setting preferred . Strong knowledge of community resources and social-emotional interventions .
