Exempt General Job Description:
The Testing & Accountability Coordinator provides leadership and oversight for the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of all state and local testing programs, accountability measures in the school district. This role ensures compliance with local, state, and federal requirements and supports data-driven decision-making to improve student outcomes. Qualifications Master’s in Educational Administration, or Testing and Evaluation, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in educational administration, testing/evaluation administration; Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Student Information Systems Support Essential Job Functions:
Oversees all aspects of the testing and accountability program and the student information system for the school district Serves as a liaison between the school district and the local, state, and federal agencies Understands ESSA and the components of ESSA as it relates to accountability Attends appropriate local, regional and state meetings and trainings Develops system-wide programs, plans and schedules for field testing, annual testing and special studies, including State and Federal components Collaborates with the Exceptional Children’s Department, the English as a Second Language Department and Student Support Services to provide appropriate testing opportunities or accommodations for all students Serves as a trainer involving testing and accountability procedures Monitors compliance with state testing program – Managing the Online Testing Irregularity Submission System (OTISS) Conducts statistical analysis of test results for all schools and areas of group tests conducted – Preparing of informative reports, including graphic charts and tables for use by administrators, teachers and the public Develops and coordinates data collection strategies and assists with the collection of data used by administrators, schools and the state Manages the preparation of the annual State Report Card Assists as a resource person in planning and conducting in-service educational activities involving testing and accountability Keeps continually informed regarding research in educational testing and the development of useful information and software programs for school and classroom use Contributes to the team effort of the Curriculum and Instruction Department as well as to the school system as a whole Collaborates with the lead for Student Information Systems for appropriate data pulls Performs other tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by the assistant superintendent
Physical and Cognitive Requirements:
The major physical and cognitive requirements listed below are applicable to the LEA Test Coordinator/Student Information Systems Support classification within Hoke County Schools. Work in this classification is considered light physical work requiring the exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
Must be able to:
