We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based team for the full school year. This role focuses on helping students develop essential life and motor skills to support their academic success. Key Responsibilities:
Assess students’ motor and functional abilities to create individualized therapy plans. Implement school-based interventions to improve daily living and classroom participation. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to provide accommodations for student success. Maintain detailed records and track student progress. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for student support. Provide direct therapy sessions in individual and group settings.
Qualifications:
Active North Carolina OT or COTA license (or eligibility to obtain). Master’s degree (for OT) or associate degree (for COTA) in Occupational Therapy .
