Classroom Floater & After-Care Coordinator (2025-2026 School Year)- Part-time 30 hours per week, 10:30am-4:30pmWere looking for an enthusiastic Classroom Floater & After-Care Coordinator to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This vital role ensures that our classrooms run smoothly by providing support where its needed mosthelping maintain proper student-to-adult ratios, assisting with classroom preparation, and fostering a warm, engaging learning environment. Additionally, youll play a key role in our after-school program, guiding students in a safe and enriching setting.
What Youll Do:
Provide classroom coverage to support Lead Teachers and Teacher Assistants during meetings, absences, and breaks.
Help set up learning materials, ensure supplies and technology are ready for use, and contribute to a well-prepared classroom environment.
Create and maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive space where all children feel valued and supported.
Engage with students in a way that aligns with Montessori principles, encouraging curiosity and independence.
Be open to coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Demonstrate professionalism and uphold Montessori values, school policies, and state regulations.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to stay connected with the team.
What Were Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).Experience working with children in a school settingMontessori experience is a plus!
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a love for working with students.
Ability to pass all required background checks, health assessments, and training.
Comfort with being on your feet, actively engaging with children throughout the day.
