Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Recovery Support Worker Certification (eligible or in processwithin one-year of employment)
- Required Minimum of 1-year experience in a related field such asMental Health or substance use disorders
- Ability to pass Medicine Administration Training
- Computer skills, including proficient typing skills
- Valid Driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two-years or more of college-level coursework or post-secondaryschool certifications in applicable field
- Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW)
- Experience working in a residential substance-use treatmentfacility
- Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR);AthenaPractice preferred
- Candidate should possess sound judgment and excellent boundaryskills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct client services, including facilitation ofrecovery support groups, engaging with clients to develop trustingrelationships to enhance successful substance abuse outcomes,supervising self-administration of medications, completing randomurinalysis or oral swabs, transportation to appointments orcommunity events, completing room searches and searching residentsupon return to the site
- Ensure safety and well-fare of all residents and clients
- Follow appropriate procedures for emergency response
- Notify on-call manager immediately of any urgent/emergent issuesor incidents
- Treats all residents and colleagues in a positive andprofessional manner
- Primary functions include activities in which incumbent mustconvey detailed or important spoken instructions to clients, andcoworkers
- Assist with in-office paperwork, data entry and/or copying
- Assist with consumer file maintenance
- Assist with compiling data for and/or assist with writing grantsfor the program Inventory
- Attend staff meetings and/or trainings as required
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and timely, including allrequired documentation
- Assists each client receiving drug and alcohol treatment inbecoming involved with self-help support groups and maintainingsocial support networks
- Adhere to all Federal, State, Harbor Care, and Program laws,regulations, guidelines, rules, policies, and procedures
- Maintain a safe and professional environment for residents andstaff
- Attends all team meetings in order to facilitate an integrated,multidisciplinary team approach
- Complete any other special projects assigned by Program Manager(or designee)
- Other duties as assigned
