After Care Site Leader

Ramsey, NJ 07446 Provide a warm, welcoming environment by maintaining a safe, orderly, and clean childcare facility. Assist Coordinator in planning of as well as managing and implementing various enrichment activities, programs and special events throughout the school year. Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents/guardians, school staff and students. Maintain children’s personal folders (containing medical forms, emergency contact forms, release forms, waivers, etc.); update as needed. Responsible for supervision of all on-site Extended Day staff. Responsible for on-site communications and handling of any personnel issues with staff, keeping Coordinator appraised of all issues. Responsible for overall room set-up and breakdown which includes planning and organizing supplies, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to school and legal standards and requirements. Responsible for children’s health and safety at all times; act as lead contact for outside emergency organizations in cases of emergency. Must be knowledgeable of and follow program’s policies and procedures and state legal standards, recommendations and/or requirements.
