Job Description Insight Global is looking for multiple Reunification Therapists for one of our social services clients for 2 regions: first region being all of Camden County & second region including all of Gloucester, Cumberland, & Salem Counties in New Jersey. This role supports parent-child visitation for families involved with CP&P (Child Protection and Permanency) to maintain and strengthen family interactions and facilitate permanency. Responsibilities include Completing intake assessments and visitation plans, Documenting visits and reports, Facilitating parent debriefings and visitation planning meetings, Transporting children and/or parents, Communicating with children, parents, relatives, resource parents, and stakeholders, Attending meetings and trainings, Assessing families’ service needs and linking them to community providers. The therapist will engage with families in a culturally sensitive manner, schedule visits in home-like settings, ensure a safe environment, and use strengths-based, trauma-informed strategies. They will maintain communication with DCP&P (Division of Child Protection and Permanency) and other providers, gather and document information, create and update visitation plans, empower families, and advocate for them. Additionally, they will link families to resources, collaborate with DCP&P staff, use clinical interventions to promote behavioral change, enhance parental skills, and debrief after visits.
