Social Sciences Licensed Psychologist Credentials LAC Full Job Description Job Summary:

This position works closely with the Program Director/Site Director by providing comprehensive oversight of the assigned program track. This position also provides direct patient care services and clinical leadership in treatment planning, patient care, program development and refinement.

Job Functions and Duties:

1. Provide oversight of assigned program and collaborate with the Program Director/Site Director. 2. Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions for reduced case load. 3. Ability to provide age appropriate care and possess necessary skills to asses and interpret data relative to the client’s age. 4. Ability to describe and teach etiologies of Eating Disorders, healthy eating, body image and lifestyle balance. 5. Adhere to Eating Disorder policies and procedures by monitoring meals and referring to alternative levels of care as appropriate. 6. Recognize need for flexibility in treatment approaches including CBT, DBT, and family involvement. 7. Document each treatment session in a timely manner and in accordance with GenPsych’s policies. 8. Coordinate the development and implementation of the treatment plan and reviews within established time frames. 9. Attend scheduled treatment planning meetings, provide input to and be receptive of input from other members of the treatment team. 10. Identify changes in clients’ clinical status and communicate changes to the treatment team. 11. Assist with the evaluation of program staff, program scheduling and program development. 12. Ensure the program remains in compliance with all applicable regulatory bodies. 13. Participate in the preparation and revision of policies, procedures and program goals. 14. Support performance improvement goals of the program. 15. Assist in developing, writing, and revising job descriptions as needed. 16. Adheres to GenPsych’s policies and procedures. 17. Maintain standards of confidentiality. 18. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree in the social sciences or related field; and 2. New Jersey licensure in good standing: Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), or post-doctoral student enrolled in clinical supervision with full licensure pending; or 3. New Jersey full licensure in good standing: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychologist and 4. Minimum of three years clinical experience working with the Eating Disorders population.
