The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families in need, helping them navigate social services, and improving their overall well-being. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to advocacy, and the ability to work collaboratively with community resources. Duties Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized service plans. Provide crisis intervention and management to clients facing immediate challenges. Facilitate access to social services, including Section 8 housing assistance and Medicare benefits. Engage in mentoring relationships with clients to promote personal growth and resilience. Implement workforce development programs aimed at enhancing employability skills. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavior change. Collaborate with child welfare agencies to support families in crisis and ensure child safety. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with agency policies. Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of available resources. Experience A degree in Social Work or a related field is required. Previous experience in social work, crisis intervention, or child welfare is preferred. Familiarity with social service programs, including childcare resources and workforce development initiatives, is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations are essential. Experience in mentoring or providing guidance to individuals facing challenges is a plus.
