HOME VISITOR 40 HOURS PER
WEEK, full year Requires travel throughout Sussex County based on the needs of the program Job Overview We are fast-paced and high-demand, non-profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at-risk population. Cross-training is available and expected for all positions. Responsibilities and Duties Promote family well-being by building professional relationships with families Complete weekly home visits to ensure safety, minimize crisis, and track child health and development Perform multiple, and timely, computer and data entry tasks Positively contribute to a high-performing team Motivate and empower families to break cycles of poverty Implement weekly parenting education services Qualifications Minimum Education Level High School Diploma/GED Preferred Education Level Associates, or higher, in early childhood education, social work, or related field Experience Some experience preferred Preferred Experience 2+ years of direct experience with at-risk population Personal characteristics: Self-motivated, compassionate, flexible
Certifications:
CDA or equivalent, driver’s license Physical abilities: Lift 30 pounds
