Essential Responsibilities:

The School Aide position is a part-time position (20 hours/week). Actively monitor an efficient, safe and healthy environment for our students during the lunch and recess periods. Maintain student culture by observing and addressing student behavior during transitions in the hallway and around community spaces such as the cafeteria, schoolyard, bathroom and water fountains. Interact positively with students, staff, and families Report all medical and discipline situations following the proper protocols. Participate in school-wide meetings and professional development. Support the school community with other duties upon request.

Qualifications :

Familiarity with the LION Community (parent/alumni/community member). Experience working with children. A strong sense of personal accountability for student success. Exceptional relationship-building and communication with students, colleagues, and families. Excellent behavior management skills, great attention to detail, and incredible flexibility to meet any. challenge with a positive, solutions-oriented outlook; willingness to go above and beyond to meet student needs. Preferably pursuing a degree or credential in education. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required
