Full Job Description Job Summary:
Visitation Coaches partner with the biological families of children who are placed in foster care, providing guidance and assistance to the biological parent(s), helping them to develop their parenting skills, thereby improving their relationships with their children, and their quality of life.
Essential Job Duties:
Scheduling and supervising visits of non-custodial parents with their children Teaching, reviewing and monitoring appropriate parenting skills Intervening with the parent(s) to reinforce positive parenting skill development Documentation of visitation and communication with the assigned Case Planner Performs all other job-related duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required:
Associates Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience Required:
1-2 years of knowledge of child development, family dynamics, parenting education preferred
License/Registration/ Certifications Required:

The constant physical demand of the position are standing and walking. The occasional physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
