Activities Worker – After School Program 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Newburgh, NY 12550 Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic School Program Staff to join our team. This role is essential in providing a supportive and engaging environment for students, facilitating their learning and development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and experience working with children in various capacities, including special education, childcare, or early childhood education. Responsibilities Assist in the educational programs and activities tailored to the needs of students. Provide support to students with all need’s levels, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance and encouragement. Engage students in creative activities such as arts and crafts to foster their imagination and self-expression. Supervise students during various activities, including playtime, meals, and educational sessions. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all students by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to student education and care. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise. Requirements Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is preferred. Background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable. Skills in babysitting or daycare management are advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A genuine passion for educating and nurturing children in a supportive environment. $20.00 – $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week

8 hour shift Afternoon shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
