ApplyPosition TypeFull-TimeShift1st Shift – no week-endsWork ScheduleMonday thru Friday working (example: 8:30a – 3p) 6 work hours a day with 1/2 hr unpaid lunchRequirementsWe are currently seeking a Horticulture Coordinator to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division in Coraopolis, Pa.
High School diploma or GED.1-3 years greenhouse experience required.
Experience working with Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental DisabilitiesThis includes but not limited to general procedures of greenhouse operationsKnowledge of current practices and techniques used in horticulture.
Responsible for implementing plans and have a high degree of flexibility, organizational skills, and creativity.
The applicant should also have strong supervisory skills and be able to communicate effectively with customers, residents and staff.
Work performance will be directed by the Program Director.
