This will be full time / 40+ hours per week. If you are interested in this Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Social Worker Opportunity, please contact Michelle at 586-422-1171 or Mmansoor@alinestaffing.com Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Social Worker Hours 3 weeks of training in Elizabethtown, PA M-F 730a – 4p (1 hour lunch) Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Social Worker Compensation The pay for this position is $26.00-28.00 an hour paid bi-weekly Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Social Worker Responsibilities Promote, counsel, and provide consultation to participants interested in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). Ensure participants meet the eligibility criteria for MAT and provide them with the opportunity to engage in the program. Follow the guidelines set by the Division of Treatment Services (BTS) and direct supervision regarding all MAT-related activities. Adhere to all contract stipulations, policies, and procedures related to the MAT program. Implement the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) treatment framework (MET/CBT) and comply with Department of Corrections (DOC) policies and procedures. Provide social work, counseling, and case management services to participants to enhance their social, emotional, and physical well-being. Work under the general supervision of an administrative supervisor to ensure adherence to rules, regulations, and policies. Conduct psychosocial assessments of participants to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and eligibility for services. Assist participants in recognizing personal challenges and developing strategies to improve their social and personal behavior. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, discussing participant assessments and treatment progress. Ensure that treatment plans are followed and that participants receive the necessary services and benefits as outlined. Maintain accurate case management files, documenting participants’ progress toward their treatment goals and objectives. Work with facility staff and external agencies to develop discharge plans for participants. Prepare discharge, case closing, or transfer plans summarizing participants’ disposition and need for aftercare or follow-up services upon discharge. Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Social Worker Requirements Bachelor’s degree Background in populations affected by addiction, trauma, or mental health issues. Experience with psychosocial assessments , including identifying strengths, needs, and appropriate interventions for individuals seeking MAT.
