Educator Right At School provides local school districts before andafter school extended day programs with a focus on disguisedlearning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the successof all students! Educator Pay Rate:
$15.00-$18.00 (based on education and experience)
Program Hours:
You’ll drive the mission by:
Daily Program Meetings:
Each day,review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professionalprogress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities :
Prepare activities andcurriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program’sobjectives. Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities,and curriculum; that are both educational and enjoyable for allages. Leading by
Example:
Maintain a safe and nurturingenvironment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while alsomeeting program goals. You will achieve this by modeling positiveguidance and effective classroom management.
Prioritize Safety andJoy:
Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and followall safety protocols. These may include documenting attendance,incidents, and other observations.
Communication:
Effectivecommunication with a varied audience, including children, parents,staff, and school personnel.
Ideal Candidates will have thefollowing:
Outstanding customer service and relationship-buildingskills Works well in a team environment At least 1 year ofexperience working with children under 13 years of age (addpreferred if this is not a requirement) Ability to lift 25lbs Driveto inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy livingFlexibility to support additional local programs as needed
Pennsylvania Requirements:
Ability to meet state-specificrequirements; First Aid and CPR-in-person Cleared tuberculosis testProof of MMR 18 years of age Proof of High School diploma/GEDrequired At least 2 years of experience working with children 5-13years of age in a formal childcare setting College credits in earlychildhood education, child development, elementary education or arelated field preferred HS Diploma / GED 30 college credits inearly childhood ed, child dev, special ed, elementary ed, or thehuman services field OR HS Diploma / GED with 600 or more hours ofsecondary training OR HS Diploma / GED, 15 credit hours in earlychildhood ed, child dev, special ed, elementary ed, or the humanservices field 1 year of experience OR ArHS Diploma / GED 2 yearsexperience Benefits Offered with
