August 27, 2025 – June 17, 2026 Position Summary Soliant is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and qualified School Social Worker to join our student services team for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will support students’ social-emotional development and mental health needs, promote positive behavioral outcomes, and collaborate closely with families, educators, and community agencies to ensure student success. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling to students to support their academic and emotional growth. Conduct assessments and develop student intervention plans. Support crisis intervention efforts and assist in behavior management planning. Serve as a liaison between home, school, and outside agencies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including participation in IEP, 504, and student support meetings. Help implement school-wide social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives and promote a positive school climate. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district reporting requirements and confidentiality standards. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. Valid Rhode Island School Social Worker certification or eligibility. Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and culturally responsive support strategies. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Previous school-based experience preferred but not required. Compensation for this position ranges from $36.50 to $56.50.
