Compensation:
$45,000 – $55,000 annually based on education and experience
Responsibilities:
Guides residents in maintaining the set daily schedule and monitors residents in completing daily tasks. Intentional engagement with residents based on the resident’s goals listed within the Resident’s Daily Progress Note and Line of Sight [RES02]. Communicating weekly updates regarding residents’ progress and struggles during residential shifts to the Program Director. Assist the Program Director in recommending needed training for residential staff. Administers prescribed medication for residents at scheduled times and over-the-counter medication as needed. Completes all tasks assigned by the Residential Director as stated in the Re sidential Checklist [RES32] . Assist the Residential Director, when needed, with the coordination and completion of individualized room preparation to meet the welcoming room standards required by Doors to Freedom. (i.e., welcome poster, hygiene basket, etc.) Oversee residential staff and conduct regular reviews. Ability to lead in conflict resolution (as needed).
Qualifications:
Bachelor in Social Work. Demonstrating a strong commitment to the mission, vision, and core values of Doors to Freedom is essential. Successful completion of Doors to Freedom’s onboarding process is a mandatory requirement. The candidate must complete 14 approved continuing education hours annually. Maintaining VSP-HT certification annually is a crucial aspect of the role. Holding certifications in CPR and First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention, and completing annual training in Medication Administration, Blood Borne Pathogens, and Suicide Screener Training is mandatory. Strong leadership skills, the ability to build relationships, and engage with residents while maintaining healthy boundaries. Manage conflict resolution as needed. Proficiency in GSuite and Microsoft Office programs is necessary for this role. Attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are important qualities.
