Successful experiences with Title I compliance requirements, literacy, and intervention preferred;
Possesses the ability to work with school administrators, teachers, community members, parents, and district personnel to link federal requirements to school improvement needs;
Possesses computer skills that include the competent usage of word processing and spreadsheets/databases; and
Possesses other personal and professional traits and/or experiences that would indicate that the obligations of the position could be successfully accomplished.

JOB SUMMARY
The District Title Coordinator is responsible for supporting and overseeing Title I programs and initiatives to ensure compliance, effectiveness, and continuous improvement. This position works closely with Title I Facilitators, Reading Coaches, intervention teachers, and Parent & Family Liaisons to enhance student learning and family engagement. The coordinator also supports the Neglected & Delinquent (N&D) program and assists in monitoring data and instructional practices to drive success across all Title programs.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Title I schools to ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines.
Assist with data collection, report, and program evaluations to measure effectiveness.
Help facilitate and support Professional Learning Communities for Title I facilitators and Reading Coaches.
Assist in the development and implementation of best practices in literacy instruction and intervention.
Provide guidance, resources, and training to ensure effective collaboration and instructional strategies.
Conduct data collection for formative and summative Title I program and project evaluations.
Assist in coordinating and supporting Title I programs serving neglected and delinquent students
Ensures compliance with federal and state requirements related to N & D programming.
Collaborates with stakeholders to improve services and outcomes for students in the N & D program.
Provide support to Parent & Family Liaisons in implementing effective parent engagement strategies.
Assist in the coordination and enhancement of Parenting Centers to ensure families have access to educational resources, workshops, and support services.
Ensure compliance with Title I family engagement requirements and facilitate activities that strengthen school-family partnerships.
Develop and share best practices for engaging parents and caregivers in their child’s academic success.
Participate in activities and associations at the state, regional, and national levels to facilitate professional growth and to enhance job-performance abilities.
Observe Title I intervention teachers to assess instructional effectiveness and alignment with program goals.
Participate in data debriefings to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement.
Provide targeted feedback and recommendations for instructional improvement.
Performs other duties as required to facilitate the progressive growth of district programs.
