TREATMENT COORDINATOR MIDLANDS REGIONAL OFFICE – COLUMBIA, SC

Full time position available; reports to the Midlands Regional Director in the Columbia, SC office. SCYAP is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to work with children with special needs and their families in Charleston County and surrounding areas; working with diverse communities a plus. The Treatment Coordinator position represents a key element in a child’s life in coordinating needed mental health, vocational, physical therapy, and other community-based services to help children in foster care reach their maximum potential. Interested individuals should have strengths in providing and documenting clinical services, working with other child welfare professionals to meet treatment goals for clients, accessing community resources, advocating for children, and providing oral and written reports. Competitive salary/benefits; pay dependent on experience, skill sets and education. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school in the field of behavioral sciences/social services as well as two years documented professional experience in the area of child welfare, and/or matching foster children to families.
