Early Interventionist Position Available In Orangeburg, South Carolina

Early Interventionist 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 2785 Magnolia Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115 As an Early Interventionist (EI), you will be instrumental in supporting the development of your children, particularly those with intellectual disabilities or other related disabilities served by Orangeburg County Disabilities and Special Needs Board by coordinating services and interactions with various programs. This position evaluates, develops plans and makes home visits to assigned families. EI completes required Assessments and Plans as well as writes child/family centered goals and outcomes for each child, maintains documentation in various required electronic system as appropriate, provides crisis intervention as needed, and coordinates services with multiple agencies to meet the needs of children being served. Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a field approved by DDSN (Child/Human Development, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Elementary Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work or Sociology with ability to provide an official transcript and, either 1 year of experience in the field of early childhood education, or, 1 year experience working with infants and toddlers, or 1 year experience with children age birth to 5 years with disabilities; SC State (PEBA)
