JOB SUMMARY

Summer employment to provide assistance to staff with grounds maintenance, field research studies, projects and other duties as needed.

JOB DUTIES

  • Essential
  • Assist staff with research field work for various crops to include tilling/watering/weed maintenance, assist with children’s garden. 25%
  • Essential
  • Grounds maintenance to include moving, weed eating/trimming/removing brush and other landscape material. 25%
  • Essential
  • Provide assistance to facilities manager and other staff as needed to maintain Sandhill REC property/research fields and assist with special events.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • High School or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of agricultural practices, farm equipment and maintenance. Licenses
  • Drivers License Class D normal

Anticipate Hourly Rate:

up to $14.00 Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson’s compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

Normal Operations Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
