On-Site Position Summary:

We are seeking a Psychiatric Social Worker 2 to supervise and provide advanced psychiatric social work services. This role includes individual and group therapy, case management, and coordination of aftercare services. The PSW2 will also oversee a team of social workers to ensure quality care and compliance with treatment standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and evaluate a team of social workers and support staff. Provide direct therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy. Guide treatment planning and case reviews for complex patients. Assist patients in accessing aftercare, housing, financial resources, and other supports. Coordinate with courts, community partners, and patient families. Maintain compliance with documentation, licensure, and agency standards. Serve as a liaison across interdisciplinary teams and advocate for patient needs. Mentor junior staff and participate in professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

Experience:

At least one (1) year of full-time professional psychiatric social work experience.

Special Requirements:

Must meet one of the following: Possess a qualifying MSW from a CSWE-accredited program Hold a Doctorate in Social Work Be licensed as an LMSW or LCSW in accordance with TN Code §63-23
