What You’ll Do 1. Assist and be available for site staff on a regular basis (i.e. up to 75% of time spent in classrooms). 2. Conduct observations to create opportunities for discussion that would lead to incorporating new approaches into classroom practices. 3. Support staff through individualization of learning style and modeling best practices to develop support plans, with appropriate curriculum planning, in collaboration with staff to increase competence and development. 4. Role model with the use of positive language, execution of a strategy, or guidance teachers may need to increase positive teacher child interactions. 5. Coach staff with the implementation of the Positive Behavior Support Framework and ensuring that teachers are providing comprehensive, developmentally appropriate strategies to support the Mental Health, Social & Emotional Development of all children that will increase positive climate. 6. Work collaboratively with all staff and families to achieve positive child outcomes and serve as an advocate when necessary. What We’re Looking For • B.A. or B.S. in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies or a related field. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in training, psychology, behavior modification, early childhood, or related field. Why Join Us?
