- Job Summary
- As a Senior Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and guidance to individuals and families in need. Your expertise in child welfare, behavioral health, and crisis intervention will be instrumental in supporting vulnerable populations.
- Responsibilities
- Utilize your knowledge of child protective services to assess and address the needs of children and families
- Employ crisis management techniques to de-escalate high-stress situations
- Apply motivational interviewing skills to empower clients to make positive changes
- Collaborate with various agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients
- Provide childcare support when necessary
- Assist in conflict resolution and mediation within families
- Experience
- Previous experience in child welfare or related fields is required
- Familiarity with family law and regulations governing child protective services is preferred
- Proficiency in crisis intervention and conflict management techniques is highly desirable
- Experience working with children and families facing challenging circumstances is a plus
