Provide advanced level case management interventions used in the trement of veterans with polytrauma injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumic brain injuries, visual impairment, post-traumic stress disorder, addictions, and other serious disorders. Offers consultion to colleagues and students on the psychosocial trement of pients treed in specialty areas, rendering professional opinions based on experience and expertise and role modeling effective social work practice skills. Monitors the efficiency, effectiveness, timeliness, and quality of services offered within the program area. The incumbent reviews relevant da, assesses the da, develops, and implements ideas for improvement. Recognized as the leader in the delivery of social work services to most complex care needs; therefore, the incumbent will serve as social work champion for discharge planning and psychosocial needs. The incumbent ensures th social work practice is evidence-based and in keeping with recognized social work trement methods. Provides consultion and technical assistance and mentoring to a group of employees performing work various GS levels, particularly those the entry level. The incumbent is viewed as the senior clinician with advanced practice skills and expertise.
