Job Summary/Basic Function The Department of Social Work at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a coordinator-track faculty position at the rank of instructor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2025. Key Responsibilities
Coordinating practicum education
Conducting outreach to practicum agencies
Maintaining practicum education records
Ensuring accreditation standards for practicum education are met
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
Required Education A master’s degree in social work from a CSWE accredited university is required by the appointment date. Required Related Experience Two years of full-time social work practice experience is required by the appointment date. Required License/Registration/Certification A social work license or license eligibility in the State of Tennessee is required. Other Desirables Applicants with practicum education experience as a coordinator or supervisor of students in practicum settings or those with higher education teaching experience will receive special consideration.
