at thelifechurch/jobs The primary mission of the Kids Life (Kids Ministry / Children’s Ministry) Coordinator is to build and maintain a life-giving, healthy Kids Life volunteer team and facilitate an excellent service experience for our Life Church children and families. The Kids Life Coordinator is responsible for training, supporting and overseeing all Kids Life volunteers and Guest Services at their location. An ideal candidate for this position is someone with children’s ministry experience, a passion for kids and family ministry, strong interpersonal skills with administrative capabilities, and the ability to follow through with details and process implementation. This position requires on-site leadership church services and events, regular office hours, and occasional evening availability for volunteer connection and special events. Responsibilities include but are not limited to•: Recruit, train, schedule, and lead a team of volunteers
Maintain clean, orderly Kids Life spaces and prepare rooms for weekend services
Ensure the provided curriculum and props are in classrooms and ready for services
Allocate time each week for calling, serving, equipping, and pastoring your team
Communicate with team leaders to ensure the location’s Kids Life and Guest Services weekend readiness
Oversee the location’s Kids Life and Guest Services inventory
Answer questions from parents and pastors when applicable
Communicate with the Kids Life staff team regarding the health and needs of volunteers and families
Attend various online and in-person meetings and trainings with the Kids Life Team
Serve and lead at special events
Assist the Location Pastor and team in pastoring, building, and developing the location. Team members should meet these requirements and possess these attributes: Passion for and experience in children and family ministry
A love for the church and a desire to be part of a life-giving church environment

Strong recruiting skills to build volunteer teams
Experienced in coaching, managing, and developing leaders
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonalmunication skills and ability tomunicate effectively and promptly with visitors, volunteers and staff
Has a genuine love for people and passion for helping people grow personally and spiritually
Detail-oriented, has basic administrative skills, and is stronganizationally
Computer Skills, with the ability to learn GSuite, Ministry Platform, Planning Center, etc.
Ability to work with tight deadlines and maintainposure under pressure
