Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Gallatin, Tennessee, is seeking candidates to fill the part-time position of Family Ministry Coordinator . This part-time position will require working on Sundays, possible Wednesday evenings as well as other possible seasonal activities. Candidates should have education or work experience in Children/Youth ministry; possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to personal spiritual growth and a healthy lifestyle. United Methodist background preferred, but not required. The Family Ministry Coordinator is responsible for ensuring Rehoboth’s ministry to children, youth and families is well-structured, Christ-centered, and aligned with the church’s mission.

Duties include:

Facilitating opportunities for families to grow in faith together by building meaningful relationships with children, youth and their families. Creating a monthly and yearly ministry calendar tailored to children and youth in the church and community which includes church as well as missional/community activities. Leading youth Sunday school, possible Wednesday evening programs, and other weekend activities, as well as coordinate seasonal activities such as back to school, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Recruit, train, and supervise a volunteer team. Participate in church staff meetings and coordination of activities with Pastor and staff.
