Restorative In-School Experience (RISE) Coordinator 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Morrisville, VT 05661 Peoples Academy Middle Level is accepting applications for a Restorative In-School Experience (RISE) Coordinator. This position will support Tier II intervention and Tier III alternative pathway.
The RISE Coordinator will: Collaborate with school administrators and teachers in consistently maintaining schoolwide expectations, systems, and structures for promoting a positive climate & culture within the school building. Foster a safe and supportive academic and social environment that supports and fosters student growth and achievement. Support school in facilitating delivery of behavioral intervention services for students who have experienced loss or trauma. Facilitate the RISE Tier III alternative pathway course for students who need hands-on programming and alternative schedules. Ensure suspended (in-school and out of school) students are provided with additional academic support during missed instruction time to ensure that they remain academically on-track. Facilitate restorative and/or collaborative problem-solving meetings between students and teachers. Develop and implement a behavior contract system to support and monitor progress. Hold one-on-one conferences with students with repeated infractions to discuss discipline records and next steps.
