Job Description

This position will be assigned to the alternative school location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in social work, or the equivalent.
• Supervised internship experience as per the Vermont Agency of Education licensing guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serves as a liaison between the school, families and community agencies.
• Provides counseling and support to all students, as needed.
• Provides information regarding community services and resources to parents and staff.
• Consults with various teams such as EST, BST, and 504 to assist students.
• Presents classroom curriculum such as Act 1, as determined by administration.
• Serves on school teams to represent student and family needs.
• Consults with parents and agencies to assist students, providing referrals when needed.

Salary and Benefits:

As per Teacher’s Negotiated Agreement.
