Position Summary/Department Summary:
The BCH OutpatientPsychiatry Service offers comprehensive evaluations for a widerange of conditions that affect the mental, emotional, and socialhealth of children and adolescents. New patients receive adiagnostic evaluation and specific treatment recommendationstailored to the child and family. We are currently seeking a40-hour experienced social work to join our team.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Providing clinical social work services toassist patients and families cope with complex personal, family,medical and environmental problems.
- Performing psychosocial andrisk assessments, assigning diagnoses and developing andimplementing interventions and treatment plans.
- Providingclinical supervision to student interns.
Minimum QualificationsEducation:
- Master’s degree in
Social Work Experience:
- Minimumof 2 years plus of Social Work experience required
- Experiencewith children/adolescents and medical environment is highlydesirable.
- Previous social work supervisory experience ideal.
- Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Spanish language skills strongly preferred
Licensure/Certification:
- LICSW in the state of MA This positionis eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus!
