Connecting. Growing together. As a Licensed Clinical Therapist /Independent Licensed Therapist, you will treat a wide variety ofmental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diversepatient population.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Form excellentprovider-patient alliances and coordinate care with externalproviders
- Screen and assess patients for common mental health andsubstance abuse disorders
- Provide treatment for a variety ofmental health conditions using treatment approaches includingcognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, andother evidence-based methods
- Systematically track treatmentresponse and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms andtreatment side effects or complications
- Maintain accurate andup-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinicaldocumentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirementsYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in anenvironment that will challenge you and give you clear direction onwhat it takes to succeed in your role as well as providedevelopment for other roles you may be interested in.
RequiredQualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or arelated counseling field
- Clear, active and unrestricted license(LCMHC/LCSW) in the state of North Carolina
- Currently eligible tobe enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program or able toterminate opt-out (if applicable) prior to starting a new position
Preferred Qualifications:
- LCAS Licensure or ability to obtain
- 2years of professional social work / clinical experience postMaster’s degree
- Experience providing direct psychotherapyservices to individuals and families
- Experience working withcomputers for professional communication and medical documentation- Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
- Ability to work bothindependently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness Thesalary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based onfull-time employment.
Pay is based on several factors including butnot limited to local labor markets, education, work experience,certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimumwage laws as applicable.
