Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay:
$34.35 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services]. This position is located at 141 Storage Rd., Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The purpose of this position is to provide eligibility evaluations for children referred to the NC Infant-Toddler Program.

Considerable knowledge of family and group dynamics and a range of intervention techniques, as well as principles of casework and training. Considerable knowledge of treatment planning. Considerable knowledge of governmental and private organizations, resources in the community, laws, regulations, and policies which govern the program. Thorough knowledge of social work principles, techniques, and practices, and their application to complex casework, group work, and community problems. Skill in establishing rapport with a client and in applying techniques or assessing psychosocial, behavioral, and psychological aspects of client problems. Ability to supervise, train, or instruct lower-level social workers or students in the program. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with members of case load and their families as well as civic, legal, social, and religious organizations. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely and to plan and execute work effectively. Ability to work independently as well as that ability to work with a variety of interdisciplinary team members. Ability to formulate appropriate goals and interventions.
