Provide targeted assessments and evaluions to include diagnostic impressions. Formule behavioral health interventions and assist with implemention and monitoring of trement plans. Provide on-going consultion services for pients who require on-going monitoring and follow-up where approprie. Provide concise and timely documention of care and recommendions in pients’ medical records. This position has specific initial background investigion and periodic re-verificion requirements since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age on a recurring basis. Degree:
Master’s degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Educion. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualificion requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes conducting bio-psychosocial evaluions of behavioral health pients; providing diagnosis of behavioral health symptoms; and developing behavioral health trement recommendions.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your educion for the required experience in order to qualify.
