Job Description
Behavioral Health Clinician Part Time The International Center for Wellness PLLC Columbia, SC As a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW-A, LCSW, LPC, LPC-I or LMFT) at The International Center for Wellness, you will facilitate In-Home and In-Office Behavioral Health Services (Community-Based Services) by providing comprehensive assessments and counseling services to children, adults, and families. You will conduct in-home mental health assessments and counseling sessions with individuals and families dealing with a range of mental health issues such as substance abuse, mental health, domestic violence, and developmental disabilities. This is a high impact role, working closely with vulnerable individuals. Experience in Integrated Care, Medical Social Work, Substance Abuse and/or Crisis Intervention is a plus. We are seeking applicants who are passionate, self-motivated, and committed to sharing their clinical skills and knowledge with a dynamic team. We deliver an array of Behavioral Health Services (BHS) by modeling activities that help to maintain a safe and healthy environment for families. Help guide individuals and families to their fullest potential while in the comfort of their homes, via telemental health and in office!
Responsibilities:
Identify services based on a comprehensive mental health assessment based on the individual’s needs Provision of individual and family psychotherapy services Implement the Evidence-Based Best Practices Participate in individual and team supervision Build and maintain positive relationships with referrals and agencies
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in related professional disciplines: Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or MFT -Marriage & Family Therapy LMSW, LPC, LPC-A, LISW-CP or LMFT in the State of South Carolina Previous experience with substance abuse desired Previous experience with Medical and/or Integrated Care encouraged. Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly Well versed with electronic health records and computer use. Access to computer remote. Valid driver’s license in good standing Reliable transportation and auto insurance that complies with the minimum state requirements (if providing transportation for individuals receiving services) Weekly participation in team meetings in our regional office is required Ability to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of children and their families
