Job Description:

Experience & Requirements:

Masters degree in Social Work,Counseling Psychology or Other Related Mental Healthdiscipline.

Unrestricted, current license in the state of practice -LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or Psychologist. Must maintain alllicensures, certifications, continuing educational requirements,etc.

Counseling experience in a correctional setting preferred.

BLS(Basic Life Support) Certification.

A background check, securityclearance and drug screening are required for this role.

Location:

Montgomery, Al at the Kilby DetentionCenterPerforms individual and group therapeutic interventions asappropriate.

Conducts psychosocial assessments and mental healthintake evaluations as indicated.

Performs risk assessment andintervention,Provides behavioral health consultation to members ofthe multi-disciplinary clinical team and to correctional personnelas directed.

Performs crisis intervention and de-escalation asindicated.

Supports and/or direct care coordination efforts forpatients returning to the community requiring ongoing behavioralhealth services.

Initiates, completes, and maintains patienttreatment plans.

Participate in team meetings.

Assists in planningand implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects.

May direct special projects as requested.

Participates in andconducts in-service training programs, as well as assists in theorientation of new staff.

Provides the necessary preparation ofdocumentation, necessary records and reports.

Follows standardprecautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Otherduties as assigned by management.
