As a Licensed ClinicalTherapist / Independent Licensed Therapist, you will treat a widevariety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of ourdiverse patient population. You will provide patients withbehavioral and mental health treatments, including individual andgroup therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatientprograms.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Form excellentprovider-patient alliances and coordinate care with externalproviders
- Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provideongoing medication management
- Participate in enriching thetraining experience of our graduate students
- Screen and assesspatients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
- Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions usingtreatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy,dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
- Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients forchanges in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects orcomplications
- Opportunities to represent the practice incommunity presentations and lectures

RequiredQualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or arelated counseling field
- Clear, active and unrestricted license(LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) in the state of practice
PreferredQualifications:
- 2 years of professional social work / clinicalexperience post Master’s degree
- Experience providing directpsychotherapy services to individuals and families
- Experienceworking with computers for professional communication and medicaldocumentation – Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equaleffectiveness
Connecticut Residents Only:
The salary range for thisrole is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay is based on severalfactors including but not limited to local labor markets,education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Groupcomplies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
