Behavioral Health Clinician 4BBCorp 2995 North Dixie Highway, Oakland Park, FL 33334 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves providing therapeutic support, developing treatment plans, and assisting clients in achieving their personal goals. The Behavioral Health Counselor will work closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Responsibilities Conduct assessments to determine the needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide behavioral therapy and counseling sessions to individuals, focusing on skill development and coping strategies. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and support services. Assist clients in developing social skills and coping mechanisms for daily living. Engage with families to provide education on behavioral health issues and strategies for support. Stay informed about medical terminology related to behavioral health to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
