WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Program Therapist is an exempt position responsible for the clinical programming of the Adult Residential Treatment and Stabilization program (ARTS), including but not limited to the well-being of clients. Coordinate the overall delivery of the psychosocial rehabilitation services related to client treatment plans
Provide individual and group mental health therapy services to ARTS residents
Share on call responsibilities with Program Director for clinical issues
Complete initial assessment of ARTS clients after admission in order to develop initial treatment plan and start development of discharge criteria
Coordinate regular case staffings of all ARTS clients; review and update treatment plans, observation frequencies, and case staffing to include input from multidisciplinary team (Therapist, Licensed Practical Nurse, Mental Health Technician, and Program Director)
Complete clinical comprehensive psychosocial assessments
Provide psychiatric rehabilitation and educational support to ARTS staff
Maintain ongoing awareness of client’s whereabouts including outings, weekend passes, medical appointments, etc.
Assist the Program Director in maintaining licensure requirements
Contact appropriate physician for emergency situations when necessary
Ensure concise and timely completion of all paperwork or documentation, including but limited to, administrative, clinical, or case load requirements
Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to management and funding sources as directed by Program Director
Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention
Perform all other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Master’s degree in counseling related field from accredited school?
Must have current certification in CPR, First Aid, Team and Basic Health Needs.
Experience working with adults living with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance abuse issues within a residential program favorable
Knowledge of social and emotional problems of adults with forensic involvement
Working knowledge of community organizations and resources
Knowledge of emergency medical procedures, CPR, ACT, and Basic Health Needs
General understanding of mental health practices and working knowledge of the DSM-5
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent computer skills; competent using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Electronic Medical Records
Co-occurring Treatment Competency
Must have a valid driver’s license with auto insurance coverage
